Wait, Ken Levine, creator of Bioshock, said the Infinite downloadable content (DLC) would be revealed? When? July 30? What time? 8? AM?
As soon as Ken’s tweet went live, my alarm was set.
Irrational Games has officially announced Bioshock Infinite’s DLC, some of which goes live today. Let’s see what Ken’s been cooking up for us.
Television is evolving. With cable becoming a dying fad, the ability to stream video from computers or internet services has really changed the industry. Companies like Netflix are even making enough revenue to produce their own original content. In response to this streaming boom, companies have created small, box shaped devices that combine all these streaming services into one, smooth, user friendly experience. Honorable mentions are Apple TV, a small black box packing all your streaming needs and then some, and the Roku, a powerful multimedia streaming tool. I really enjoy top five or top ten lists. They help to see inside the mind of their creator or the community that fueled them. It can be a real treat to see what points you both agree and disagree on. I have written one top numbered list before, featured on my IGN blog (one day I hope to migrate those posts right here to Go Left Gaming). The list was for the Top 5 Unforgettable Game Introductions of This Generation. This time I have a top ten for you. I started the list with only five in mind, but the list expanded and I even had to make a few cuts. These games are my Top Ten Multiplayer Games of All Time.
Hello Readers! This little post is just an update on what you can expect here on Go Left Gaming in the coming weeks. As most gamers know, the summer can be a slow time for new games and content actually being released. Since my weekly Animal Crossing posts are done, regular content on Go Left Gaming has slowed down too. Fear not! Coming soon I have an article on Kingdom Hearts III and a Top Ten list for your consideration and for some open discussion. Also, Splinter Cell: Blacklist will be released on August 20, 2013. I have it all paid off at my local game store and plan on writing up a full review for the game once I experience the game. So there you have it! A few months before the launch of The Last Of Us, Naughty Dog announced that the game would be getting DLC, both single player and multiplayer. As the norm, a season pass was announced alongside for a mere $19.99. Included with the season pass was Day 1 DLC, which included-
That last item, the documentary, was something I totally spaced about by the time launch came around. I stumbled across a Twitter post mentioning the documentary, so I googled and was reminded that the film was included with my purchase. I logged onto PSN in hopes of finding it in my purchases, but to no avail. I searched all over, both the store and the internet, but could not find the documentary. Finally I asked the Podcast Beyond Facebook group and they came to my aid. I decided to take this opportunity and make a video showing you how to download the Grounded: Making of The Last Of Us documentary. Not only will this video help you, but it has helped me with video editing and becoming comfortable with my “radio” voice. One step closer to providing you with better content! Animal Crossing: New Leaf Review

Oozing. Oozing is one of my favorite words. I sounds so cool when you say it and it puts such a clear image in your mind. Just say it with me: Oozing. I love using it in my writing and I love when other people use the word too. I am sure you can see where this is going…
Animal Crossing: New Leaf is oozing with content. It truly is a game that could never end; it has that much content. It doesn’t all hit you as soon as you hit the power button though. No, like I said, it oozes out (all right I’m done). The game gradually teaches you it’s core mechanics and adds new layers that you will want to experience. Somehow Nintendo has struck a true addictive formula with it’s Animal Crossing franchise, and New Leaf evolves and expands on that formula in small, powerful new ways. Animal Crossing: New Leaf really perfects on what makes the franchise such a delight and will keep people coming back day after day after day.
