Agarwal was at Naughty Dog for a decade before leaving earlier this year. He helped [[Chasing the Stick - The History of Naughty Dog during the PS4 Era|ship the PS4 games]] and was the co-director on *The Last of Us Online* ([[Naughty Dog Cancels The Last of Us Online|RIP]]). I wasn't surprised when Agarwal left given that game's cancelation.
I'm not terribly surprised at the moving to Japan news either, just considering how expensive it is in California.

Doesn't take a detective to know that Agarwal loves multiplayer and is working in that space. Unreal Engine 5 makes sense as the engine of choice for a new team in the current landscape.
I still can't believe Naughty Dog axed *Online* after so much time in development. That game was gonna be [[The Last of Us Multiplayer Game is going to Pop Off|sick]].
