# *Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge* Notes
A top-down, isometric portable adventure for one of gaming's dynamic duos. Gruntilda time travels with a robot to stop Banjo and Kazooie from ever meeting and, therefore, ever thwarting her. The game has all the elements of a *Banjo-Kazooie* game, but is woefully short and shallow.

### Stats
- Started playing on
- Beat on 6/7/22
- Total Playtime: 03:28:03
### Legacy
### Overall
### World
- Call back themed levels. A beach, Spiral Mountain. The bayou bog has a haunted house. The farm is original.
- It’s this weird fusion of nostalgia for both core games.
### Story
- Simple and silly.
- A couple of new characters, but nothing major. Bozzeye is neat/funny.
### Graphics
- Rather impressed how they communicate the style with so few assets.
- Isometric view can be misleading at times.
### Music
- Sounds and feels like Grant’s work. Surprised some sound effects sound deeper while others are spot on.
### Gameplay
- So snappy. This game is flying by. A great turn around from Tooie. Granted, platform and scope are a huge part of that.
- There’s a difficulty spike in the last two worlds
- The respawn rate is atrocious
- Mini games are here, albeit just three different types. Fishing, boating, sliding.
- Wonder what all the rankings are.
