always have good sh they always have at least one thing that I want to buy. *00:00* Um, which is great. *00:00* But yeah, Leaf Green, uh, Pokemon Blue. *00:00* Outside of Heart, Gold, and Soul Silver, which I was all on because you know Johto Best Gen, um I missed a lot of like basically all of the Pokemon side games. *00:00* Side like uh spin-off games on the DS. *00:00* And now platinum's like a ninety dollar game. *00:00* I don't know where it is. *00:00* But I send them articles whenever I see them that say Charizard $300,000. *00:00* I actually just bought Sapphire, fifty-five bucks. *00:00* So I got Pokemon Ruby and stuck uh like and uh and just dealt with it. *00:00* Cause that's the Pokemon I catch, you know? *00:00* Th I have these save datas that are finally protected and save, you know, against the cruelness of batteries and time. *00:00* Cause I I know there's uh times uh where I don't think you were in the Discord by the time Scott White came into d uh dual shockers. *00:00* Leading up to Rifted Part in June. *00:00* I was just like, I don't care. *00:00* Because for interesting because at first I thought you had to copy him, but then um it wasn't working. *00:00* And then and then Do you have two factor authentication on I turned it off? *00:00* So like I played Final Fantasy Seven because I had a friend that had a PS1 and I played at his Stranding was my first Kojima game. *00:00* Outside of one game, I want to drop like everything that I'm playing right now and just play through Death Stranding. *00:00* I like I'm not crazy about the dual sense. *00:00* It is my favorite PS4 game. *00:00* I'd miss that one game, so I don't know if I want to, but I kinda do, because it's like my first time playing those games, and I just I don't know. *00:00* Uh for whatever reason it had Twilight Princess with it. *00:00* You gotta be willing to say no and like know when to when to wait like to max your bid. *00:00* And I had bid, I think, $110. *00:00* Did you like do the all the Shantae stuff when it hit limited run? *00:00* I listened to the music and I was like, man, the music in this in this series banging. *00:00* Uh for Switch, and I'm like, okay, like but I but like all like the thing is like all of these games are on Switch. *00:00* Me too. *00:00* Cause it the thing is is just like I'm investing heavily on this on Switch as a console. *00:00* Like whatever the next main console for Nintendo is going to be, I 100% think it's gonna be backwards compatible for Switch. *00:00* Yeah, uh and there's something just cool about having the carts. *00:00* Or developer, whichever one was how much is it going for now? *00:00* Thrill I do is just like, ah, this is valuable. *00:00* There's definitely been times in my life where I'm like, I need money. *00:00* And the final form version is not easy to find. *00:00* Before I like by the t like by the time I was in like going to college in twenty thirteen. *00:00* Like there's the like the sticker here, it hasn't been cut or anything, and it doesn't look like that it was like replaced either. *00:00* Oh thank you. *00:00* torn, you destroyed everything. *00:00* If you think like if you actually like look at the behind the scenes development of that game, like Namura was kind of like in a situation, like granted, like *00:00* d the whole time travel thing. *00:00* That's what the Remind DLC is in the second half. *00:00* Cause I know that was like one of the big things like oh she's a fans in distress again like they they they fix that uh I think in a way that makes sense in the way that Kingdom Hearts does it fit because you know like Kingdom Hearts is a lot of *00:00* Kyra and Sora uh Sora, sorry, Sora Ka Kyrie and Sora against Zayonort. *00:00* They do not give Riku the respect that he deserved. *00:00* than Kingdom Hearts. *00:00* And Dream Drop. *00:00* Because I ported all those saves over, I looked at my uh Battle Network 3 white save. *00:00* with that secret movie, nothing was more hype. *00:00* Why are there so many key blades? *00:00* Like I think people like game plays great, it looks fantastic. *00:00* Game's a little too easy. *00:00* I think Kingdom Hearts 2 with like the different forms was like the way they did the different forms was like perfect. *00:00* I still think like as it goes along, Kingdom Hearts has like one of the best like stories in video games. *00:00* It's very Kingdom Heartsy to say the least. *00:00* The end of chain of memories. *00:00* But I don't I haven't told many people this, but well, like obviously I've said on Twitter all the time, like I want Titsu Nomura to sign my arm because I want to get tattooed. *00:00* I have the 2. *00:00* So I'm kind of waiting until we move into an apartment and stuff like uh to to get that. *00:00* the GameCube is themed? *00:00* One thing I'm super happy with is that I have all of the Fire Emblem Collectors editions. *00:00* Uh and then I got uh warriors as well. *00:00* Because I when I pre-ordered it at GameStop, I think they said that they have like two per store. *00:00* Yeah, that was my first Fire Emblem game. *00:00* I got the I got the UK one for for definitive edition because it came with the vinyl. *00:00* They had a they had a wave bird and it was like in pristine condition. *00:00* That's cool. *00:00* I did have it pre-ordered. *00:00* So that one I had to like, you know, but the charity one was in the US, but I just bought it too late before it like uh left the store. *00:00* Plug away, my friend. *00:00* Uh but kids across the street, they had PlayStation, that's where I met Crash, Sly Cooper, uh Jack and Axter, all that stuff. *00:00* Which is that's a fun reveal. *00:00* They kept building, you had Uncharted 4. *00:00* Like you know, like things like that that I was just like, uh you it it very much like if you take the game for what it is, then sure. *00:00* And where do you go from that? *00:00* Okay. *00:00* He's killed and brutalized and broken rules and so on and so forth. *00:00* In even part of 2020, championing out just tweeting every time I could just like play this game. *00:00* Just the way that they play with those themes in the final season is just wild. *00:00* Still need to play that. *00:00* I my f favorite name you've used is i is something like hot is it hot someone was selling on eBay. *00:00* Which is the second mystery dungeon game. *00:00* communicate between the two games somehow. *00:00* I bought Ranger because it was the only way to get a mana fee. Paper Mario games leading up to Origami King. *00:00* Well, you and me are more similar there than you might think. *00:00* It's more just surpr 'cause there's so many of them. *00:00* With with the PS2 trilogy, I'm gonna be playing it via Vita or PSTV. *00:00* Like why? *00:00* Uh like Chrono Cross, uh Vagrant Story, Legend of Dragon, like all these PS1 games that I just JRPGs that are classics that like I have never gotten the chance to play because I just kind of I never had my own PS1 *00:00* Speaking of which. *00:00* Um because I had to cause I basically had a Vita, sold it so I could get my Xbox One X. *00:00* So, but anyway, ratchet and clank. *00:00* Well actually that kinda ties into the third thing. *00:00* I didn't know that you were like I think I I felt like I knew that you were a big collector, but you don't really show 'em off as much as like I do per se. *00:00* And then there's also uh and I also thought about getting a Wii U again specifically for the virtual console. *00:00* to like eventually play through all the Metroid games. *00:00* I started streaming through the Metal Gear Solid series, but I didn't stream Metal Gear Solid 1, which man, what a f game. *00:00* Gives you that level of like ecstasy that I'm just like I love this fing game. *00:00* The uh but this is the game where like give me that dual syntactic feedback. *00:00* Which is a super slept on at this point, like now that I've played it, like super slept on JRPG series. *00:00* uh complimented from the uh Western audiences, uh the Western community. *00:00* I feel like we're very alike in that way and the there's a thrill of the hunt. *00:00* Twilight Princess on the GameCube, but the disc was scratched and wouldn't load past naming your horse. *00:00* But then but before that my in-laws bought me the game loose. *00:00* I can win this. *00:00* I definitely I definitely need to to that's to that's the one I almost did get was the Game Boy Collar one. *00:00* Um so I had to buy the collector's edition for Shantae on Switch. *00:00* Go on eBay and buy the collector's edition for seven sirens or whatever as well, which is like the most recent Shantae game. *00:00* Uh and if it isn't, I'm gonna be very upset. *00:00* But the switch is so weird because it's a hybrid. *00:00* Um that's why as you can see, like I've got a big red red stack of games. *00:00* For like Nintendo consoles, knowing their history, yes I am. *00:00* You know, listening because you can't see it. *00:00* Those are all Brigh Arts figures anyway. *00:00* How much you would pay for a normal play art because most play art figures, for those that don't know, probably go sit between 160 to 200. *00:00* I would say. *00:00* Metroid Prime trilogy on Wii Steel Case still. *00:00* They just haven't released it because Metroid Prime 4 got delayed indefinitely. *00:00* The GameCube one? *00:00* Twenty dollars per game, you get 'em on Switch NHD. *00:00* We were talking about like not buying things just to sell later. *00:00* Was tempted as well. *00:00* digitally, but I don't think we're gonna get a f separate physical release. *00:00* I haven't sold any of these. *00:00* He did not have the flexibility that he got with Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2. *00:00* Like that Kingdom Hearts 3 met expectations for me. *00:00* Have you not heard any of this stuff? *00:00* So it it's one of those things like part of it is I I I do think like a lot, not all, but a lot of the issues of Kingdom Hearts 3 were Disney's fault and not Squares and Namora's. *00:00* I understood like here's the thing with Xanort that like I personally might m maybe it's an unpopular opinion, but like I know that Xanort is *00:00* Here's the thing, because and a lot of people agree agree that I've talked to feel this way as well. *00:00* And we got to Kingdom Hearts 3. *00:00* Things, the moments that happen in the Remind DLC. *00:00* Literally popping off like while I while I was playing the game. *00:00* For it to double back to the ending of Kingdom Hearts 3 proper with Trinity is very well done in Kingdom Hearts fashion. *00:00* The first half to be a retrend of the uh organization fights that that you know. *00:00* Yeah. *00:00* 420 to save the day. *00:00* Who aren't like us and have played those games. *00:00* I don't it is like you know for those yeah no for those I like I can't tell you like for like at least the year leading up to its release just people saying like *00:00* Like here's the thing, like the only bad Kingdom Hearts game I think that exists is coded. *00:00* I'm t like here, I don't want to be one of those guys, but like I honestly think that if you don't like Chain of Memories or you play Chain of Memories and you didn't like it, it's because you didn't understand the deck building *00:00* Deck building with chips. *00:00* Yeah, like I there are some people I know that jokingly pretend that Kingdom Hearts 3 doesn't exist because of how they felt about Kingdom Hearts 3, and I'm just like that's that's just stupid *00:00* Uh you know, very quad. *00:00* Like, I don't know. *00:00* Uh so that's what she's I guess I guess doing while Riku's uh art book for Fire Emblem Awakening, which is one of my favorite games ever. *00:00* I've got like a the Spice Orange Japanese GameCube complete with the whole Oh really uh the Game Boy Player and the controller and the Game Boy Advance. *00:00* for the Pokemon XD Gala Darkness GameCube. *00:00* I it was in my garage when I was clearing out my childhood home. *00:00* Yo, can I pre-order this and send it to your house and then you can send it to me? *00:00* for that because the art book for definitive edition is like designed the exact same way as Zenoblight Chronicles 2 *00:00* physical version of Xenoblade Chronicles uh Torna Country, which is like the prequel to two that counted as DLC for two, but it it's it's its own game. *00:00* Uh one that hasn't been ported yet. *00:00* Um deal. *00:00* I begrudgingly bought it and I was like, okay. *00:00* Uh I had to buy that from Japan. *00:00* I I'm I'm I'm very, very happy to have these. *00:00* I think that's it. *00:00* I didn't think it was gonna go n like bad per se or anyway, but like I just didn't know like where the Well given given our our public past of disagreeing and and Kingdom Hearts in particular, I c I could mix of put it on the stick, chasing the dragon and you know that. *00:00* to do that, especially the the switch halfway through, you don't get that a lot. *00:00* um ahead of time, which I thankfully did not. *00:00* Not like for me my favorite like very unpopular opinion my favorite un like naughty dog game like from Uncharted to now is Uncharted 3 *00:00* aggressively dislike that game. *00:00* Th that that's kind of like my issue with it. *00:00* Uh but and again again like I thoroughly, you know, and I notoriously not the biggest fan of The Last of Us, um, but I I I do like The Last of Us *00:00* Not to the same degree. *00:00* A lot of people. *00:00* No, it's part of it. *00:00* Ellie would have won a hundred per like this is that's what Ellie would have wanted. *00:00* That's I think up to each individual person to figure that out, but I think he finds redemption in the end. *00:00* Uh for me the like the with The Last of Us is just like I I just feel like that I don't know I and maybe maybe it's like wrong to compare the to compare the games but like I just feel like a lot of comparisons to uh *00:00* W uh like in it in its in its like direct influence to the story than so fun and cool and you just realize *00:00* 2018? *00:00* with those people. *00:00* Uh like you know before then, you know, he'll add that and it feels like there's new news for Xbox a lot. *00:00* you know if someone doesn't like your content or like this podcast or something like that then like just don't listen to this podcast like move on to find a different pod like don't just harass their Game Boy Advance. *00:00* So when the pre-orders went up, the pre-orders like sold out in like 10-15 minutes. *00:00* Shadows of Almia, which I think is the second game. *00:00* So so that's like a goal for me right now is to try and get um copies of those games uh for my collection to play eventually. *00:00* I've just found this out semi-recently because I used to own Diamond and Platinum and I sold those to a GameStop at some point because Pokemon Games keeps their value. *00:00* binder case thing 'cause they f the size of a C D and so they keep 'em nice and flat and in good shape. *00:00* My history with Pokemon is weird because when I was a kid, I had blue, cards, toy, you know, the whole thing. *00:00* Don't have this mentality A lot of people are just like okay how like how good are they in battle? *00:00* Oh wait, oh you can't see other side. *00:00* Emerald is like $200 now. *00:00* I uh Pokemon, we got uh Marion Luigi Superstar Socks. *00:00* I went on a bend and I've actually used my Game Boy Player, my GameCube. *00:00* And I'm excited to finally play some of these games that I've I never played. *00:00* I have never I I I I every time a new Pip Mario game comes out, I'm just like, man, that looks really, really cool. *00:00* And what? *00:00* I just got one a few months ago. *00:00* Man, like I I got I got a very good deal on mine 'cause I I had a friend who had like three of them for some reason and he had like and it was you know they were refurbished. *00:00* Too expensive, you know what I mean? *00:00* So I can stream through the trilogy, right? *00:00* So I'm playing the trilogy on PSTV. *00:00* PS3 game and the first of the future trilogy is not on PS Now. *00:00* And well here's the thing, you don't have to copy them from the PS3. *00:00* You can't get via the Vita anymore. *00:00* And once I was like, once I get the money from the for the house, like I'm going to buy literally every single Vita game that I want on this store. *00:00* Um, so I bought like 15 to 20 like games. *00:00* Gotta do what I gotta do. *00:00* Mm well mostly because uh we never had the space for all of it. *00:00* than all the consoles. *00:00* Praying for a PS5 upgrade. *00:00* Bar none, like for sure. *00:00* Sorry, I just want to make sure I do the math right. *00:00* be my favorite JRPG series after Kingdom Hearts. *00:00* Especially what you were talking earlier, having things in the box, complete. *00:00* But I love it and it's a great I love having a Game Boy micro, so it all panned out. *00:00* good games like you know what I mean and so I was like okay all of them are coming to Switch granted like one of them which I did have to pay like more money than I wanted to um already did get a limited run release which was like a Pirates Curse I believe *00:00* And then I had to buy or Half Genie Hero was uh published by someone else. *00:00* uh beforehand on eBay to try and get a copy of before they announced the reprint and I was just like man this is another game I just do not want to spend that much money on. *00:00* And that's it. *00:00* You know, and they and the value always stays up and it's just like you g you gotta go physical and it's I don't know for me it's easier. *00:00* I still have a sealed copy of Cooking Mama. *00:00* sell them like I might not be able to find it again. *00:00* Um which I have all of them. *00:00* Um obviously like a bunch of Kingdom Hearts 2 uh two characters including like just Sora. *00:00* You just gotta you just gotta take what you can get, you know. *00:00* Um, so I do have the normal and the limit form version as well, but those again like aren't that expensive like they're basically like *00:00* And there was only one listing for it. *00:00* Has been sitting on that for a while. *00:00* A lot of people are upset whenever a game gets remade and is full price. *00:00* Uh, I I don't know. *00:00* Kind of brings me and it ties into collecting as well, because uh arguably Kingdom Hearts for me was one of the things that really got me into collecting. *00:00* And uh not a ton of stuff. *00:00* Not even with the Disney stuff. *00:00* Yeah, like let but all she can do is seem to let it go. *00:00* of the Disney Worlds like that you know that in the past that that that he previously had. *00:00* Yeah, it it it's I just felt like Xeonor it got off far too easy. *00:00* Xeonort himself really comes into focus in birth by sleep. *00:00* Uh Alex O'Neill, I don't know if you out uh know who he is, um, but he basically said that when when the remind DLC came out *00:00* stuff. *00:00* So honestly, like I would I highly recommend you go into the Remind DLC and just you know just expect just basically expect um *00:00* characters I feel like you should have been able to play as is the respect that deserved. *00:00* Highly recommend it. *00:00* p I'm bit I've done my time. *00:00* I don't ful I didn't fully understand it. *00:00* Um maybe maybe in the future you might have to based off what they're doing. *00:00* I l I honestly believe that. *00:00* I I love the deck building. *00:00* and their different uh fighting styles and structures and magic. *00:00* I did Ventera Aqua, which I think you know, and then you go into the final chapter and it's just Yeah. *00:00* So like I love Kingdom Hearts. *00:00* And that really just kind of bummed me out a lot. *00:00* They're I don't know. *00:00* Kingdom Hearts is just like the fing poop stain that people like to make it up in the gaming industry like the gaming *00:00* And me and my other me and my f friend have talked about like this at length. *00:00* But like which is you know Riku's Kingdom Hearts 2 Keyblade Um because you know the reason why Riku's my favorite character is because like I see him through me like I like I you know *00:00* Growing up, like growing up, I had like a lot of like anger and and things like that. *00:00* I have basically I just have all the games complete and box. *00:00* Yep. *00:00* Um and then I need the 1. *00:00* when they were new, and then I sold it to get a switch. *00:00* I have that one. *00:00* Anyway, Awakening's the best 3DS game. *00:00* Um oh well I mean like my Pokemon Crystal box is like complete is like definitely one of my pride and joys. *00:00* Series Elite Two, um, the Elite Series Two or the GameCube controller for sure, one hundred percent. *00:00* That's what so that's why my friend uh my friend didn't get the Mario one because he's hoping that they're gonna do a Zelda one. *00:00* I think it was 16. *00:00* And it's different than the coin that came with the master edition. *00:00* So this was a similar situation with me in the whatever edition of Kingdom Hearts 3, the the one with all the statues. *00:00* And that's a long story, but I have all but one of the official Kingdom Hearts plushes, like that are from Square Enix. *00:00* Is the nobody plush. *00:00* So there there there are some that I I uh had to buy for cause because the the unversed one specifically never came to the States. *00:00* That's the struggle of being a hardcore collector and a Kingdom Hearts fan. *00:00* So these I remember seeing you tweet about these. *00:00* You know what they represent. *00:00* really sat down and talked, especially one-on-one. *00:00* This is fun. *00:00* Sweet. *00:00* That's fine. *00:00* PS three. *00:00* Yeah that opening cinematic of Kingdom Hearts One and I was like, yep, I'm sold. *00:00* Uh so they had me close my eyes and they put a book in my hand that was wrapped. *00:00* the big present, like what is gonna make me so excited. *00:00* mm, four Lost Legacy, Two, and so on. *00:00* uh two and three and then uh that was also around the time that the last of us was initially revealed at the game awards that year. *00:00* an RPG where it's or even a telltale game where it's choose A, B, or C and move forward, but just make me feel like the character telling the story that you want to tell. *00:00* Does that particular thing like you feel the result of what your actions are without like with your simple actions without it being like obvious you know like with it being like in your face about it? *00:00* Uh but it's a great game. *00:00* I um I'm one of those people that like thinks Joel is the villain. *00:00* Like praise Joel without like recognizing his actions, if that makes sense. *00:00* Maybe some people also found problematic, but like didn't like just kind of like was like whatever about it or that didn't find it problematic and I was just like *00:00* The just that entire scene in part two where she's just railing on Joel. *00:00* Continue. *00:00* then the people that she met and influenced later on wouldn't have th they that would never have happened. *00:00* I don't know. *00:00* You know, from the get-go, they want you to sympathize with this with this guy who's like not a good guy uh because of something that happened in his past life. *00:00* And I I and and and that's in part because he saved her life. *00:00* I interpret uh the the games because like I I know a lot of people didn't play it, but like uh the final season of The Walking Dead is like *00:00* But like uh, you know, I and I think I do think that like from a technical standpoint, what they do is really impressive. *00:00* Th in most regards, I would say. *00:00* Than The Last of Us in this sense, but like the it it it very much is like a companion piece of the first season where it's like, hey, uh *00:00* Yeah, we um I we I feel like we actually have a lot of our personality in similar similar ways. *00:00* Uh and he would like Ryan messaged me personally, like in my DMs, because he was just cause he's asthmatic as well, and he was just like, hey, you should look into this prescription, like this has helped me a lot, like *00:00* That's where I like to play my games and it just makes the most sense to me. *00:00* four, five years. *00:00* Uh, you know, hit me up. *00:00* these are the people that make me want to do this type of job. *00:00* Yeah. *00:00* And then, you know, we'll hop in Discord. *00:00* Um and V Mix. *00:00* It's a you know it's a way to like do video recording. *00:00* to b I would not do very well at Xbox Trivia. *00:00* Like what the ant answer ended up being right, like a that answer, but then but then I was just like uh well because like 'cause Destin like brought up like the whole family thing and I was just like, man, that actually does make a lot of sense. *00:00* to you uh on the show. *00:00* where I slip up where I'm stuttering and pausing, 'cause it's all uh um and like our filler words while your brain is catching up to your mouth. *00:00* Yeah, and and some people some people you know saw that interaction on Twitter and that like have followed followed me from Unlocked and said like, oh don't worry, like like like legitimately don't worry about it, like you're gray on the show, like things like that *00:00* That was the only time I gotten uh tw Here's the thing, it was a c constructive criticism. *00:00* And now I think it's more common for people to just ignore that. *00:00* It's not good. *00:00* The honestly, the thing I'm most excited to talk to you about, and I don't know how long this particular conversation will be, is the analog pocket. *00:00* Um, I don't know about anyone else. *00:00* At um because they have two stores, but at either of those stores is the steel book for Persona 5 that came in the collector's edition or whatever. *00:00* Um, apartment, not house. *00:00* And then uh I need to pick up uh I want to get Pokemon Platinum, but I want to get that com I want a complete version of that, and that game is very expensive. *00:00* Um oh really? *00:00* I I have a blue cart, because that's the one I had as a kid, and then I have these spin-offs now. *00:00* And I vividly remember going to Target uh as a kid. *00:00* There's it's the uh the future trilogy, which is on the PS3, uh into the neck into the Nexus, and then the remake, the 2016 remake *00:00* Um and I'm just like, even that, I'm just like, oh, I don't really want to deal with that. *00:00* The PS the PS Vita uh the So I don't know if you know about this, um But a lot of the PS Vita games that you can buy like that are on Vita like the the PS1 classics *00:00* You got the big boys, okay. *00:00* And uh shouldn't be that expensive. *00:00* So that was a whole bunch of uh distractions that we just talked about. *00:00* Behind me on the bookshelf is where I've got my Last of Us and Uncharted statues, my Zelda shelf, a Japanese slash Nintendo shelf, you know, that kind of stuff. *00:00* You know, so and at this point like I really want to play it like honestly like I want to almost drop *00:00* Um but you don't have to start from the beginning. *00:00* It it is definitely the JRPG series for you. *00:00* And I'm currently on the second game of the Trails in the Sky trilogy. *00:00* Um so yeah the the trilogy specifically you can play it on Steam. *00:00* I try to do that too. *00:00* They're selling it at Best Buy as well. *00:00* That you know it was just a bit it was just happen. *00:00* Right, and so that's fairly valuable, but I don't really ever plan on selling that. *00:00* Like I I do not want to say on this podcast how much I spent for this. *00:00* just like lit literally *00:00* Like No, it exists. *00:00* uh how Riku uh it shows like Riku traveling there basically um and then like how ka one thing really cool *00:00* Um so I ha like so that's how I got the 2. *00:00* Um it like kind of slipped out of its place. *00:00* That's one of the last Wii U ones, right? *00:00* Yes. *00:00* And uh so I have a a f somewhat official Kingdom Hearts Last of Us came out and Last of Us, I think, is a a really, really great game and just kind of kept *00:00* is the kind of stealth gameplay I like, the stories I'm drawn to, and all that stuff. Miranda who has three. *00:00* And because like I remember where there was one time where I where I did get criti like I was getting criticized for taking too long to get to the point and I was just like and and I was just like *00:00* And I still think that like I'd probably say by the end of next year, we're gonna get a price increase in Game Pass. *00:00* I I like I know that Microsoft is a trillion dollar company, but I still think at some point they're gonna have to up the price of Game Pass. *00:00* And uh Abby, my wife, she uh s if she's had a long day at work, she's a teacher and with middle school. *00:00* You you know, when you have that rhythm and that cadence, especially with a permanent other host, you get in a flow, you're good. *00:00* the like being a sp a good everything got into lockdown and hopefully God hopefully we can *00:00* Because my battery was dead and it wouldn't save games and I was just like, I need to get this replay like proper because I'm not doing that electrical table sht. *00:00* Um and so I was just like, well I'm definitely gonna still like have you cut my hair because I I like you as a person and all that stuff. *00:00* And so uh whenever I go over to get my hair cut, I also go over uh to the retro store. *00:00* Because uh there's like there's someone on Etsy that recreate that like remakes the boxes, and so I'm gonna have them remake the blue box for me, and then I'll have a collect like a complete package uh to a certain degree *00:00* Uh for because cause that's like a a big collection goal for me right now and I know we're gonna get more in depth about collections later. *00:00* games, toys, and cards. *00:00* They understand now that they had no idea what they were doing, it was a terrible mistake. *00:00* So I didn't return to Pokemon until the DS, when I was 13. *00:00* the ROMs off of my cartridges and now I have them on my computer, on my mister, I'll be able to put them on my pocket when that jailbreak comes out. *00:00* like the actual cartridge or disc. *00:00* are on PS Now, which I've used PS Now to stream games before. *00:00* old consoles and my CRTs, uh PS1, N64, uh PS2, uh Super N T Wii GameCube *00:00* Do literally everything that game has to offer. *00:00* that uh I'm playing for for the first time that aren't like incredibly long games. *00:00* Um they both like were saying like y'all play this game like the series, it's so good. *00:00* When I do my collecting. *00:00* So I had to buy the collector's editions for because the thing, like, that's cool about limited runs that a lot of their stuff isn't that expensive. *00:00* Like Kingdom Hearts 3 is like on the same level as Kingdom Hearts 2 for him, which I disagree with. *00:00* For me. *00:00* But I digress. *00:00* Uh the the the teaser at the end of Kingdom Hearts 2 final mix. *00:00* But I still think it it was still a j like a plenty good game. *00:00* I mean I'd be down. *00:00* Uh I really want um that I I I don't think I've any told anyone uh I don't think I've t well I know that you don't know, but uh *00:00* sad or mad or maybe happy. *00:00* But yeah, and then other things, I mean I got the new Mario Switch, very happy about that. *00:00* And display very, very nicely. *00:00* And cause Winnie the Pooh is like my like Toy Story is like my favorite movie, but Winnie the Pooh is my favorite Disney property. *00:00* In the end, we both just really care about something. *00:00* Always aware of those series and then uh I got a PS3 Christmas 2011. *00:00* me to Jol is is not his his past sins or even his current ones, because he's not a no no one in that world is good or perfect. *00:00* Arthur's a bad dude, right? *00:00* And that whole game is about his redemption toward society and this group and have redemption *00:00* Cause I don't think he does. *00:00* He was a protector or provider to this community, a beloved member of it. *00:00* Like I I get I I I think it's just cause like and I get I get like how they structure with the narrative and it's just like and maybe that's just cause like why I'm just like so negative about it is just I see what they're trying to do and *00:00* credit there and that's why I like the game. *00:00* And how you try and make them see the normalcies of what society used to be *00:00* And they explore that in also in the TV show as well. *00:00* s say like the different kinds of emotions that I experienced throughout that season. *00:00* This is this is wild. *00:00* You're the only other person I personally know who actually got a pre-order. *00:00* Cause cause so last year I emulated two games and I don't want to emulate any more games *00:00* Yeah, I'd be I take it right now. *00:00* Uh the the two thing the two console I've like thought about getting is one a PS3 because there are some games on the P that are like still stuck on the PS3 that I'm like oh please port these games *00:00* Yeah. *00:00* It originally was on limited run, so that wasn't that wasn't uh too bad either. *00:00* Do you so the value of the games. *00:00* Uh I I spent uh uh or I'm not gonna say uh uh but like I went on eBay to see alright alright, let's see how much this is. *00:00* A villain, or like he's a bad guy, but like I understood where he was coming from, like his his point of view, his mentality. *00:00* One very much shows that Kingdom Hearts 3 should have came out later. *00:00* It just really the moment that broke me was when Sora died, and you just see *00:00* Really does. *00:00* Like Sora's stuff could have been there without actually playing as Sora. *00:00* I've got my Wind Waker Wii U still and on the box and all that stuff. *00:00* Nice. *00:00* Uh but but uh yeah and then oh yeah one yeah uh one E3 they did the the Funko booth had like a treasure chest it was like the treasure chest from Kingdom Hearts and it came with a shirt *00:00* the Uncharted 3 bundle. *00:00* Anyway, I went Christmas Day borrowed Uncharted One from a friend's house. *00:00* of like completely switching the protagonist on you and shifting expectations, especially if you didn't have part two spoiled. *00:00* Hey like but like oh Ellie didn't give consent and I'm like y'all like I don't even like this game that much and I know that *00:00* And I like that for him. *00:00* w in what it resulted in for him personally. *00:00* things to dissect about that game and the characters and the decisions and things like that. *00:00* Here's you know, in the first game's like here's this little girl who has no idea how to function in to survive in this world, right? *00:00* How'd you get that gig, dude? *00:00* Um it I don't know, it's just it's just wild. *00:00* I'm explaining my point. *00:00* Make the price increase instead of it gen like generally going up over time because every time there's a price increase people complain *00:00* Yeah. *00:00* But yeah, I never realized that platinum had shot up in price. *00:00* And I guess I was too into it. *00:00* Very nice. *00:00* One that got away, I guess. *00:00* Yeah, balancing and like triggers. *00:00* I get like a weird I don't think it's game the Game Boy color like uh stuff and I was just like *00:00* And that just that's just life, you know what I mean? *00:00* The movie. *00:00* I just thought the wrap-up wasn't it didn't we have a soft reboot. *00:00* super evil force that needed to like die. *00:00* It's like I I get what you're saying in like bringing in the mo like a mobile game to to to the end of you know for Kingdom Hearts 3. *00:00* No, no, none of it sealed. *00:00* I don't know. *00:00* I love my way. *00:00* I feel I I I feel like this much cooler for owning them, you know, it's one of those things. *00:00* E3 twenty seventeen I think it was no, it would have been twenty sixteen. *00:00* So I found someone on Etsy who did a like who tried to do a reproduction of that ex that specific plush. *00:00* And I just said this is the best I'm gonna get. *00:00* I'm still not entirely sure, but this might be my favorite thing out of my entire collection of everything. *00:00* They look so nice. *00:00* Put the narrative and the gameplay in my hands as much as possible instead of taking things away from me. *00:00* But I just that's what I've always been drawn to and the people there and how they do it. *00:00* And I think they play really well. *00:00* Don't no no no like okay No, not to the same degree *00:00* trust and things like that with uh Joel and Ellie. *00:00* Yeah. *00:00* And I remember I
