They finally came for us. The likes of SEGA, Rockstar, Sony, and Square Enix have sent the automated copyright goons after Millennial Gaming Speak after some odd ten years.

Almost four years ago, I restored Millennial Gaming Speak to the sound waves by using Spotify's Anchor FM to host the show for free. I never liked having to use Spotify as a host, but the trade off for free hosting for a retired show was worth it to make an archive of the show and make it all accessible. This trade off is now taking another toll thanks to (presumably automated) copyright flags.

I have had to delist 23 episodes of MGS due to music we used for 30~ish seconds in episodes; predominantly from the aforementioned companies. I have all the files and can easily edit those out. I suspect more strikes will come. I am not a fan of this idea.

Below is a list of all the episodes. I made it a checklist in case I want to publicly track restoration progress. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

My favorite flag was the opening theme of Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg. The people forgot Billy, but not the industrial complex that is copyright.

Update (4/21/25): They Came for Chasing the StickToo

Little title says it all. Currently, it just impacts two of the individual episodes, but I suspect more will come. Added to the list below.
