Looks like [[Nintendo Switch 2 Reveal Thoughts & Impressions|my assessment of GameChat]] from the reveal was spot on if The Verge's video is anything to go by.

I have the *same* old 1080 Logitech webcam and this video inspired me to dig it out and attach it to a USB-C dongle. It worked perfectly. Now I am GameChat ready.
I was surprised and delighted to see the accessibility features. I was also surprised to see it all running in pretty good time with the conversation. Sony and Microsoft could learn a ton from Nintendo's implementation here.
