I had never heard of Fred again.., but I do know Thomas Bangalter as half of Daft Punk. Jason Kottke shared this performance back when it was uploaded almost two months ago and it has sat in a tab on my laptop since then. I finally dove in this morning and have been loving it.

I may not necessarily advise watching the show—there are waaaaaay too many flashing lights. The music is straight fire though.

It's a rare treat in many ways. First and foremost, seeing Bangalter live in any way shape or form is remarkable. Second, getting to see it after the performance when I was nowhere near London or even knew it was happening. I wish more musicians offered up ways to consume their live music. I know Phish does. Maybe its a jam band thing. Third, it's wild to not only watch it, but I can also add it to my library on Apple Music. I was fully prepared to download the audio and plop it on my phone, but Fred again.. just did it for everyone. He seems like a cool cat. Maybe I will listen to more of his stuff.
