He is here to discuss a new Netflix documentary, Untold Mr T: I Pity the Fool. At 74, he rarely gives interviews. But when Mr T decides to talk, he really does talk. What Mr T thinks, Mr T says. And I’ve never heard anyone trash the very thing they’re here to promote quite like Mr T does today.

I learned a whole lot about Mr T in this here read. He's got the character of a man I wouldn't have assumed. That's on me and the Hollywood machine that Mr T has extracted himself from, which is so deftly presented in this feature. But man oh man, if I was the author Simon Hattenstone, I would have been so giddy when this little message popped up.

"A message is flashing on my screen from the Netflix rep, who is listening in on the interview, pleading with me to change the subject. But Mr T isn’t quite done."

I pity the fool at Netflix indeed.
