Summary
Lan and Mega Man team up to fight off cyber villains in an always-online world. You build a deck of chips/cards to fight off viruses on a 3x3 grid in real time. The game world is filled with secrets.
Acquisition
I saw the Mega Man Battle Network 3 White Version box at a Costco in Indiana. I remember asking for it, but I don't know why. I had never played a Mega Man game before, but I was aware of it. Possibly because of the Saturday morning anime—Mega Man NT Warrior.
Memories
This was the first game that made me cry. The sacrifice at the end was profound to a little 9~10-year-old Max. I was obsessed with the secrets and world the game offered, especially in the post game. It's a special game.
