- Mr. King's 105 hour save data on the cartridge I bought, clearly hacked and all. I couldn't just delete that.
# Summary
The third generation of Pokémon and the first title for the Game Boy Advance. I honestly forget the name of the region, but there is lots of water and Water-type Pokémon. Game Freak was in their stride with updating, revising, and invigorating the formula.
# Acquisition
I bought at a local shop with credit from trading in duplicate copies of [[Kingdom Hearts - Chain of Memories|Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories]] and Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time, alongside *Tony Hawk's Underground*, and *The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King* from a [[Advance Wars#Acquisition|Goodwill bundle]] and the *Final Fantasy XV* collector's guide and a physical Gwent set that I had. Quite the eclectic trade.
# Memories
I don't have many with this iteration of the series. My experience came later with [[Pokémon Alpha Sapphire]]. For some reason though, I *loved* Mudkip as a kid. So much, that it became my handle that has haunted me to this day—mudkip143 (it rhymes if you spell it out). I think "i herd u leik mudkips" was the first "meme" I grabbed ahold of me and my funny bone.
