It features top-down 2D art and design like those old games. I assume the gameplay is similar. # Acquisition My childhood best friend bought this for me at a garage sale as a birthday present, I think when I was back in town visiting. It used to have a sticky grime on it, but that wiped off easily and the cartridge is in good condition. # Memories While I have never sat down and played this game for more than 10 minutes, I do have a memory of seeing the box behind glass at a store like Walmart or Target as a kid. That was probably the first time I was even noticed Metal Gear Solid as a franchise. In my memory it was strange to see it; possibly because it was a Game Boy Color game and maybe those were very old at the time? I am not sure. # Miscellaneous - [Metal Gear II](https://hhug.me/?post=100), an unlicensed beat 'em up clone from China and the company [Sintax](https://hhug.me/?tags=companyprofiles). Sometimes, you gotta link to the unlicensed clones.
