A bigger world with the shocking revelation that the *entire* first region and all eight of its Gym Badges were present as well. Top tier design throughout the whole game. # Acquisition I bought my *pristine* copy of Pokémon Silver at a local mom and pop shop. I have never seen a GBC cart this clean since I was a kid and ripped it out of the packaging myself. # Memories My memories with this gen are far more limited than with the first. I did have copies of *Gold* and *Crystal* in my high school/college years, but I sold them in February 2015 to pay for my New Nintendo 3DS XL. 🪦 My experiences with Kanto and Johto are more tied to Pokémon HeartGold Version. # Related Posts - [[S6E3 - Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver]] - [[S6 - Pokémon Behind the Scenes]] - [[Exposing Fraud And Deception In The Retro Video Game Market – Karl Jobst]] # Miscellaneous - [Iwata Asks – *Pokémon HeartGold* and *SoulSilver*](https://iwataasks.nintendo.com/interviews/ds/pokemon/0/0/) - [New Pokemon Gold & Silver Facts Discovered](https://youtube.com/watch?v=MDJuM8C5g-8) – Did You Know Gaming? - This video [debunks](https://youtube.com/watch?v=MDJuM8C5g-8&t=816) the gaming legend that Satoru Iwata wrote a compression algorithm that allowed them to squeeze Kanto in the game, arguably one of the game's best moments.
