Developer: Game Freak
Publisher: Nintendo
Platform: Game Boy Color
Release: October 15, 2000
Summary
A true sequel in every sense of the word. A bigger world with the shocking revelation that the entire first region and all eight of its Gym Badges were present as well. Top tier design throughout the whole game.
Acquisition
I bought my pristine copy of Pokémon Silver at a local mom and pop shop. I have never seen a GBC cart this clean since I was a kid and ripped it out of the packaging myself.
Memories
My memories with this gen are far more limited than with the first. I did have copies of Gold and Crystal in my high school/college years, but I sold them in February 2015 to pay for my New Nintendo 3DS XL. 🪦 My experiences with Kanto and Johto are more tied to Pokémon HeartGold Version.
