Back of Box

Developer: Silicon Knights
Publisher: Konami
Platform: GameCube
Release: March 9, 2004
Summary
A ground up remake of the first Metal Gear Solid game exclusive to the GameCube. It's fusion of mechanics from Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty with wackier cutscenes makes this a divisive release amongst fans. It think it is a must play version of the legendary game.
Acquisition
I saw this one go up for sale at a local shop and bolted over to buy it. I traded Alien Isolation, God of War (2018), NeiR Automata, God of War III: Remastered, and Batman: Arkham Knight for a whopping $34 in credit.
Both discs' labels have cracking, but they read perfectly in the console.
Memories
I can do one better than whipping up chunks of memories. I chronicled my playthrough of the game and its sequels in my Returning to Shadow Moses — My Journey back through Metal Gear Solid piece.
