Platform: GameCube
Release: December 11, 2006
Summary
The people want dark, gritty, realistic Zelda? They got it! Turn into a wolf and explore the twilight realm for this landmark title in the franchise.
Acquisition
I lucked out on a Goodwill auction with a Red Ring-ed Xbox 360, You Don't Know Jack for PS1, and Singstar Amped for $9. The disc did not work at the time, but a $2 resurface at a local shop fixed it. Before I did that, my mother-in-law bought me a loose copy at another local shop as a gift for $34.95, which completed my GameCube set. I have since sold my second (resurfaced) copy.
Memories
My memories of Twilight Princess stem from playing the Wii version, so I'll save those specific memories for that entry.
With the GameCube version, the memories are more tied to the absolute steal of finding a complete copy for $9. That and learning the Wii version was essentially mirrored to make Link right handed. Part of me wants to make this version my first round actually completing this title.
