Summary

An full 3D portable Kingdom Hearts title that focuses on Roxas' time in Organization XIII before the events of Kingdom Hearts II. Mission focused to benefit the portable platform and you could play as members from the Organization. It felt like a home console game on the go.

Bought complete in box from GameStop with money my parents gave me for a cruise.

Memories

The cover story in Nintendo Power v243 is engrained in my mind. I poured over those paragraphs like a sacred text. As a Nintendo kid who loved Kingdom Hearts from afar (aka my neighbor's PS2) I was thrilled to be getting a "real" entry on a Nintendo console.

I finally bought my own copy with the money that my parents gave me for a cruise I was going on. I instead spent that money at GameStop before shipping off and bought this along with Wario Ware D.I.Y. I think my folks were mad at me, but I was thrilled. I remember waking up before the rest of the ship stirred and playing it on the pool deck under the pinks and purples of the rising sun.

This game meant so much to me at the time, but I have never revisited it. I wish Square properly remade it, but I doubt that will ever happen.

I did try the multiplayer with a co-worker and friend at DualShockers when we went to PAX East. I was very tired and cranky though, so I don't think I was very nice. Sorry Chris...I hope you can find it in your (Kingdom) heart to forgive me.
