Back of Box

Developer: Game Freak
Publisher: Nintendo
Platform: Nintendo DS
Release: October 7, 2012
Summary
The first direct Pokémon sequel and it came out after the 3DS was in the world (can't ignore that DS install base). Game Freak really explored the narrative potential and space beyond the usual and I think it works well enough. The world and activities with Pokémon were also diverse and a real lived in feel.
Acquisition
Bought from a local shop in December 2022. It was priced at $139, but I traded in Xenoblade Chronicles and Fire Emblem Three Houses toward it.
Memories
I remember getting the game for Chapter Select and it being the only DS title I snagged complete in box. It felt worth it to go all out for this rarer entry. As time has gone on, I think I cherish this one more and wish I had played it at launch.

Miscellaneous
While not in Pokémon Black 2 itself due to the game's wWi-Fi battle rules, this was a great finale.
