Summary

Acquisition
Bought complete in box from GameStop before a trip up to Jacksonville.
Memories
I have a vivid memory of picking this game up. We would have just moved to Florida and were off to visit some friends in Jacksonville. For some reason, we stopped in a nearby plaza (probably for lunch) and there was a GameStop there. My mom bought me a game before the drive up. It was rare to get a spontaneous game. I chose this and became obsessed. This would have been after Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Ranger and my reintroduction to the series for my thirteenth birthday. I was all in.
As fate would have it, our first, temporary apartment in Florida is about 10 minutes from my home now. The GameStop is gone, but I go by that plaza often and think of this game every time.
My brain remembers loving the story. I even recall tearing up at the end, but ask me know and I don't know what happened.
I also remember having this Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Rescuer's Guide, which was a pre-order bonus for the game that GameStop just gave me because they had extra. I still have the poster that came with it, but I traded the booklet to my friend for Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation. What an odd trade that only kids could conjure up.
As I loaded up the game to see what my playtime was, I saw this absolutely stacked Legendary team and had to get a screenshot of it. Like I said, I was all in.
