Memories

Buying this game was quiet the challenge. I figured Best Buy would have it in stock launch day; the app indicated as much. I drove over and there was no one around to ask where the game might be since I didn't see it on display in the paltry video game section. It had been reduced down to two tiny aisles. I resorted to checking the app again, which said this store did not have it.

So I went down the street to Target. Their video game section was also two itty bitty rows. There was almost zero staff around, all running about unpacking items to stock shelves or plucking other people's orders for drive-up. I finally got someone's help. They had to find a key to go get it from the stockroom. Finally, I could pay. Part of me was worried I couldn't pay with cash given the state of affairs I had witnessed thus far.

Besides that journey, playing the game has been a delight. I played with my wife launch night and we had a blast bopping around the sports. Then we let our four-year-old daughter give it a go. She designed a character and had fun playing the easy tennis mode. She would twirl to hit the ball, which was as adorable as you might imagine. I am loving this game so far.
