Summary
Return to the ring with Little Mac and motion controls! Take on fighters from around the world to claim the belt and then defend it. When you break it down, the game is really more of a puzzle game than a boxing game.
Acquisition
Bought at Retro Mansion in Johnson City, TN on December 17, 2024 for $39.99. It was the annual trip to visit The Boys for The Keighleys and this had been on my list for a very, very long time.
Memories
I've never played this one, but have always been fascinated by it. There is more depth here than meets the eye. A great way I learned about it is the episode of Original Soundchat about the game. There's a robust title defending post-game, hidden bosses, and complex movement/controls. You can even use the Wii Balance board to add to the dance of boxing.
I always kept my eyes peeled for it at shops and finally found a really good copy while visiting friends one December.
