Summary
A Wii-focused port of the once GameCube exclusive Resident Evil 4. It brought innovative pointer controls and was considered by some to be the definitive version of the game until the remake in 2023. No chainsaw themed controllers this time though.
Acquisition
Bought at a local shop on June 30, 2022 for $14.99 as prep for Chapter Select Season 5 - Resident Evil. It has a price sticker on the back lower corner, and the case has a cheap, repro feel, but official Wii labeling.
Memories
None in particular besides booting it up for 10 or so minutes to get a feel for the innovative pointer controls. Interesting how Nintendo consoles really defined Resident Evil through the GameCube and this title. I think the pivot to HD changed that.
