A fun little game whose premise is more shallow than I anticipated based off the reception. It felt like a joke that went on too long and whose punchline was cringe.

Overall
- A fun little game whose premise is more shallow than I anticipated based off the reception. It felt like a joke that went on too long and whose punchline was cringe.
Graphics/Performance
- A cute pastel, polygonal style. Like a bunch of porygons from Pokémon had a game jam about animals.
- Final boss softlocked and I had to restart the whole thing. Not fun.
- It’s buggy and a bit jank, but I think the right kind of jank.
Gameplay
- You control a hole that grows when an object falls inside. Make hole big, suck up entire county.
- It’s a clever idea that I thought would have more Rube Goldberg like puzzles and interactions. It’s very simple and never goes beyond the joke of being a hole.
- Clearly designed for mobile first. The little touch cursor that appears straight away was annoying to me.
Music/Sound Design
- Techno blippy bloopy boppy
World
- LA but donuts.
Story
- Raccoons move to Donut County and use holes to suck up all the garbage...and people.
- It’s goofy with an almost too dumb sort of internet humor.
