# Foggy Skies – Memory Card #22
👋🏻
First up, it totally dawned on me that my [[Memory Card 21 – Forced|last newsletter]] should have been called "Air Forced One" and I have regretted not thinking of that title right away for my entire trip.
I am flying home to Florida, trying my best to lock in to write more of my script, but instead find myself nursing a week-long stomach ache with a perfectly room temperature Seagram's ginger ale (just the way I like it) and writing this letter. That's acceptable procrastination, right?
I am banging my head against a sectional transition from Tokyo EAD design and history to the crux of *Galaxy 1* and my brain is not thinking cohesively. Sentences, phrases, quotes, and ideas are being plopped in and rearranged with slapdash shorthand sprinkled throughout. It's a time where I wish I could zoom out and see everything all at once; just take in the totality of the script. I need a bird's eye view of The Thing™. The irony of craving this view from 35,000 feet is not lost on me.
I am trying to write around it, but I feel like this set up is the launch star into the heart of the essay. I'm getting frustrated. I am clearly procrastinating, but I am at least not shutting my laptop in defeat.
I did not get as much writing done as I had hoped this week. My whole schedule was thrown out. My morning's were not their usual quiet affairs. That's okay – I love this trip – but it has certainly put a kink in my ambitious timeline. The last two mornings at my cousin's house were much more my speed. A couple of hours to myself, chilling at their kitchen bar with a big tall mug of whatever the Nespresso squirted out, laptop open and ready. Those sessions felt dreamlike and I wish I could have them every day. Maybe I can channel some of that on the upcoming Christmas cruise? That's another no Internet forcing function travel scenario. Maybe the ocean air is good for writing.
All right. Enough procrastinating on this 737. I'm hoping banging out this letter has loosened up the creative juices and the bird's eye view comes to me. Until next time...
P.S. - We got it. Good work procrastination. You did cleared the way.
