# Bedridden – Memory Card #24 👋🏻 I was hoping the next time I sent you all a letter, I'd have the script locked. Then my body decided now was the perfect time to be sick. I've been shut in my room going on three days now. Writing this will probably be the most intensive thing I've done. I was writing the script at a good clip too. I only have two more sections and the conclusion. I'm sitting at roughly 4,200 words. Takes a lot to define spirit, I suppose. There is a silver-ish lining with being bedridden—movies, books, and cooking shows. I've been reading Stuart Turton's *[The Last Murder at the End of the World](https://www.amazon.com/Last-Murder-End-World-Novel/dp/1728254655)*. I could probably finish that today. I watched *[Hoosiers](https://youtu.be/12h5KGHU8Mg?si=PNXKWB06bmcBlQRI)* and *[Police Story](https://youtu.be/EpXMJ3wo0kI?si=DzNlfv32qZ9UTQBR)* yesterday.[^1] I've also watched my fair share of cooking competition and Babish YouTube videos. There's a strange permission to find entertainment wherever when you are this sick. What do you all watch or read or play while you are down for the count? I'm gonna give the PlayStation Portal a shot today. I've been eyeing a rewatch of *Prometheus* or maybe I'll rent *Police Story 2*. I hope you all reign in the new year in a much healthier fashion than me.
