# Getting Dull – Memory Card #43 👋🏻 I can feel my pull to the work slipping as time marches on and now real "progress" is being made. That bums me out; it discourages me. Then Nintendo announced the Switch 2 properly and a spark was rekindled. I had a wonderful podcast session last Saturday. We booked it in February and postponed it until the console was fully revealed. I hadn't podcasted in months before that—and not for a lack of trying. I have reached out to four or five folks to try and have em on the show, but haven't heard a peep back. Sort of like applying for jobs. Ba da chhhhh. Speaking of work, it has picked up. I had decent billable hours last week. That wind has puffed up my sail, which I think is why I feel the lure of the siren's song to make something for myself. The work has encouraged me. I haven't looked at my Fourth Wall and Accepting Fate essays over these past two weeks. Instead, my creativity is all fueled by Switch 2, which I think is a very strong indicator of my interest-driven-obsessive-ADHD-triggered brain. I've been taking my time to write a beefy blog post that's well researched and sourced. Then, thanks to a thumbnail concept I made for a friend, I was kind of inspired to take this blog post and when it is done, turn it into a video. Just read the script and semi-thoughtfully place b-roll over the top. Nothing too rigorous. I really like this idea. It fuels the desire to write. It helps said writing be heard by more people. And I get to make this thumbnail idea I really like (I'll write about that in the next letter). I've been slipping over these last two weeks, but it is never too late to get back on track. Until next time... P.S. - I finished *God of War: Ragnarök* and the *Valhalla* DLC.
