[Welcome teamLFG to the PlayStation Studios family](https://blog.playstation.com/2025/05/07/welcome-teamlfg-to-the-playstation-studios-family/) by Hermen Hulst
> "teamLFG originated at Bungie, but has also rallied developers from across the industry to bring to life an ambitious incubation project that I’m very excited about."
The [[Concord and the Coat of Many Failures|last time]] Hermen was excited about an incubation project, it [[Concord Put on Ice|did not end well]].
Cutting back Bungie staff and making a new team out of them feels like a shell game. "LFG" allegedly stands for "Looking for Group," but we all know what it *[really](https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Lfg)* stands for.
> "We will make immersive multiplayer worlds propelled by action games that players can learn, play, and master for countless hours."
That's a bold declaration.
> "Our first game is a team-based action game that draws inspiration from fighting games, platformers, MOBAs, life sims, and frog-type games. Players will inhabit a lighthearted, comedic world set in brand-new, mythic, science-fantasy universe."
So *Smash Bros.*, *League of Legends*, *The Sims*, and *Frogger 2: Swampy's Revenge* set in the world of *Split Fiction*?
