# Naughty Dog Celebrates 40 Years with a Strange 90-Second Video Interview > Crash Bandicoot was a huge leap for Naughty Dog and saw us spinning our way onto PlayStation. 🥭 > > What are your favorite Crash levels? > > [#NaughtyDog40](https://x.com/hashtag/NaughtyDog40?src=hashtag_click) > - Naughty Dog Twitter account, [October 8, 2025](https://x.com/Naughty_Dog/status/1975970100944449669) Despite the 40th anniversary being last year, Naughty Dog is celebrating now. I saw this little video last week that featured Neil Druckmann, Andy Gavin, Jason Rubin, and Charlotte Francis talking about Crash Bandicoot's origins. It's a little video glossing over the inception of Crash. But where is the rest of this? They brought in the founders. They made a set. Why just *Crash Bandicoot*? The video only appears to be on Twitter and Instagram.[^1] You'd at least think it'd be uploaded to their YouTube channel, but no. It's such a strange roll out to celebrate one of the industry's best studios. It feels like a shortsighted, even thoughtless, way to celebrate such a milestone. The ball is being dropped. I could have given them [[Naughty Dog's Second Game in 4K|high-res assets]] of the Jam Software logo, *[[Ski Crazed]]*, *[[Dream Zone]]*, and *[[Way of the Warrior]]*. Naughty Dog, hit me up.
