[[Metroid Prime]] and [[Metroid Prime 2 - Echoes|Metroid Prime 2: Echoes]] were ported to the Wii with the superb motion controls, while *Corruption* received refinements as well. You couldn't ask for a better collection of these games. # Acquisition I pre-ordered this one at my local GameStop, back when a mall could have both a GameStop and an EB Games. Got it on day one. # Memories I was very excited for this one. I hadn't bought *Prime 3* yet and so this was the perfect chance to snag it. I remember getting to the SkyTown area, but not much past that. This was definitely my first SteelBook case and I fell in love. Still love getting them in collector's editions. I'd finally finish Prime 3 for [[Chapter Select]] on [[S7E5 - Metroid Prime 3 - Corruption]]. I played on my Wii through my RetroTINK-4K Pro. Good times indeed. # Related Posts - [[Rumor - Metroid Prime Trilogy May be Incoming for Nintendo Switch]] - [[The Good Ol’ Nintendo Rumor Mill]] - [[S7E3 - Metroid Prime 2 - Echoes]] - [[S7E5 - Metroid Prime 3 - Corruption]] %% ```base views: - type: table name: Related Posts filters: and: - file.links.contains(this.file) - file.inFolder("Published") order: - file.name - Published sort: - property: Published direction: ASC columnSize: file.name: 513 ``` %% # Versions - [[Metroid Prime]] - [[Metoroido Puraimu]] - [[Metroid Prime 2 - Echoes|Metroid Prime 2: Echoes]] # Miscellaneous - [PrimeHack](https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-fork-primehack-fps-controls-and-more-for-metroid-prime) - While I have never used it, my pal Logan did for Chapter Select and it requires the *Trilogy* ISO. This seems like a very nice way to play the games. - [Metroid Prime: Trilogy "no longer being shipped"](https://web.archive.org/web/20121025170040/http://www.computerandvideogames.com/231126/metroid-prime-trilogy-no-longer-being-shipped/) by Gavin Ogden for CVG UK - In researching this entry, I learned that the *Trilogy* was only ever sold during a four~ish month period. What a strange offering.
