Hot off the heels of New Super Mario Bros. on the DS, this bold entry for the Wii introduced multiplayer to Super Mario. A ubiquitous Mario experience that encapsulated the Wii generation. While the series would go on to feel overdone, it cannot be understated how fresh this title was upon its release.
Acquisition
I got this when I bought my second Wii from a high school friend. It was included with the Wii and Mario Kart Double Dash!!. My particular version is the pack-in one that came in a sleeve.
Memories
This game took over like no other 3D Mario game had. I think everyone who owned a Wii had this game when it came out—except for me.
