# Call of Duty: Palette Cleanser 6 – Memory Card #17
A happy Thanksgiving to you all. I hope you all are basking in the gratitude and gravy.
Essay progress hit what I would call a holiday break. 😅 The boys wanted to play *Call of Duty*, so I signed up for a few months of Game Pass. Everyone has been praising the campaign in *Black Ops 6*, so I figured I'd give it a shot. I haven't played a *CoD* campaign since the remake of *Modern Warfare* when I bought it used out of a Redbox ([RIP](https://kotaku.com/redbox-machines-kiosks-free-movies-dvds-stealing-reddit-1851694915)).
The campaign was very fun, goofy, and over-the-top. You can [[Call of Duty - Black Ops 6 Notes|read my notes on the game]] if you'd like. Totally worth the rental, which I kind of how I am treating this Game Pass subscription. I'll try out Indiana Jones next month too. I will say, needing to install 250GBs to play multiplayer and the campaign is the most absurd thing I have heard of for a game. That's 25% of the Xbox Series X disk space. What are they doing over there?!
*Black Ops 6* served as a palette cleanser for me. A total brain wash distraction that just took a couple of days to beat. In a way, it was refreshing. Strange to say about a heavily annualized military shooter mega blockbuster, but when you never play them, they can delight from time to time.
I hoped back to *Splatoon 3* this morning and finally shut of the motion controls. I promise I tried. I just can't do it anymore. It feels so much better to me. I may never go pro in *Splatoon*, but at least I won't lose my sanity along the way. I hope to make a serious dent in this campaign over the remainder of the break.
That's all for this little update. *Call of Duty* fun, back to being a Squid Kid.
