Mario Kart Wii Review
This was my first review of a video game. I pointed my Dad's Canon Powershot at the CRT in my room and recorded various races and scenarios to share my opinion about the most recent Mario Kart title. It was a game I poured countless hours into that year, since getting it for my birthday.
The videos were made back when you had to split YouTube videos over a certain length up. The topics were single player and multiplayer, The Mario Kart Wii Channel, Wi-Fi support, and my disappointments. I think I enlisted my brother's help for the multiplayer portion, but he was in a sour mood. One disappointment I do recall was the lack of a Double Dash!!-like mode with two racers on the kart. I still think the series should revisit that.
For some reason, this entire review series has over 40,000 views.
While filling out my entry for Mario Kart Wii, I decided to make and backdate this post to have the videos accessible on the blog. I thought it'd be fun to have a record of this too to pop up on the "On this Day" feature and so on.
