Developer: Nintendo EAD Tokyo
Publisher: Nintendo
Platform: Wii
Release: November 12, 2007
Summary
Some might describe this one as "the first worthy successor of Super Mario 64." Galaxy is a transformative 3D Mario game that ushered in a new "Course Clear" style era for the series for the next decade. It is a timeless classic in my humble opinion.
Acquisition
Bought at a garage sale together with Super Mario Galaxy 2 for $30.
Memories
I don't vividly remember my first time playing Galaxy, but I definitely remember my second round in 2024. A remarkable game and one I am thrilled I played within the context of Donkey Kong Jungle Beat, Super Mario Galaxy 2, and Splatoon 3. Yes, Splatoon 3.
